The original Lifeline took the App Store by storm, reaching #1 Top Paid Game on iPhone and Apple Watch in 29 countries. Its compelling mix of real-time storytelling and Dave Justus’s suspenseful writing continues to capture the imaginations of countless players worldwide.

Lifeline 2 raises the bar with a new story almost twice as long as the original, with many more choices and paths to explore. Lifeline 2 features a 28-minute original soundtrack and is fully optimized for watchOS 2, delivering the best Lifeline experience on Apple Watch yet.

The second story in the Lifeline series connects you with Arika, a young woman on a deadly quest to avenge her parents and rescue her long-lost brother. Your choices will keep her alive and help her succeed as she faces mortal danger on her way to a final, fateful showdown against the forces that threaten all of humanity.

Lifeline stories play out in real time. As Arika travels to complete her quest, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Arika directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app on your phone.

After completing any story branch, you can rewind to earlier parts of the story, or speed through parts you’ve already read. See what happens when you make a different choice: will you guide Arika virtuously, or cut corners to gain an edge? Seemingly simple actions can deeply affect the outcome.

Arika’s story, and the fate of the world, depend on your judgment. You will face the consequences together, because Arika is relying on YOU.

Lifeline 2 features no in-app purchases and no ads. An Internet connection is not required.

Pros and cons of Lifeline 2 app for iPhone and iPad

Lifeline 2 app good for

Great game, well written, plays awesomely on the Apple Watch. What more do you need?
I enjoyed it! I was drawn in by the story and had problems putting it down when it was time. Definitely an awesome game. Looking forward to the next one!
Although the character and storyline is quite different, which may be disappointing for some, I think this is an incredible game. Its much longer than the first, and I love the character. Overall I only have positive things to say! Very worth the purchase!
I feel like this story is very similar to full metal alchemist....nice one, though
First off, great concept. The storyline is pretty engaging (although I personally dont love all the magic and cutting, etc.). Dont know if I was just lucky, but made it through on my first go. Plus, many (and I mean many) of the choice are just the same thing with a different attitude). So, Id basically describe it as a book with a teeny bit of interaction. The watch app never worked for me. It would load, but bring to a part way back in the book (no syncing?).
With all 3 games from this series, I get so attached to the characters that Im on the verge of tears by the time I find the right ending. Such amazing games! Worth. Every. Penny.

Some bad moments

Im pretty disappointed by the game... The first game was incredible I was scared for person made from code! But this one seemed cheesy and just not what I thought it would be.... I wish it was another space type story or even a story about a man that was accused of murder but was actually not the real murderer.... That would be cool, to help him through everything. Anyways I hope you make a cooler game in the future.
I loved the first one.. I couldnt last 10-15 mins with this one. Gen Y witch as character is lame. :(
This story is very boring compared to the first one. Wayyy too much blabbering that has nothing to do with the story.
The first life line game was great, it pulled me into to the story, great twists in it. But this... This THING is horrible compared to the first game. It was a waste of my money and i would rather have not played it and enjoyed the first one. The story was cheesy and i didnt bond with the characters. I hope that you guys make a better game in the future.
It consistently crashes on my watch, Ive never even gotten to a title screen.
I have been downloading apps since day 1 and this is the first one I have ever taken the time to review. It was that bad... Not terrible, but a huge disappointment after the first two. It wasnt that the story was different... I liked the story, but the writing this time around seemed hurried and the sequences were supper choppy. There wasnt enough time given to build a connection with a stranger... She shows too much gratitude way too soon when all you really do in this version is click the "what happened now?" button. The character is fun, and witty, with a metric ton of pop culture reference dripping from every crack in every sentence of dialogue - and there were many (cracks that is) - but the vast majority of the references were out of place for this homeless, teenage orphan. And the quests! They seem pretty arbitrary overall. You dont know why she needs the things, she just does. So you end up being the lost puppy dog following her around saying you can do it... whatever it is... and helping her make completely useless decisions like should I walk, or use magic? - Duh! Use your magic! It feels like these decision points were put in completely arbitrarily (and dont get me started on the whole right/left decision tree in the monastery... I dont even want to think about that one. Ever. Again. The whole experience was just odd. Good enough to keep me going through to the end, but bad enough to have me questioning why almost the entire way! All I really wanted by the end was a little closure; not for Arika, thats pretty much a given, but for me. What is the point of the greens? Why is magic an illusion? Why did they take over the town? What was it doing for the years Arika was growing up? Is it connected with the first storys body snatchers? Etc, etc, etc... Unfortunately, you dont get any answers. Not one. The whole thing feels like a quickly slapped together followup - and I wish I could get my money back for it. Great concept, bad follow through! The soundtrack was well done but I cant say that about anything else in this app. Skip this and go buy the first two installments... They are shorter, but balance the story, character, suspense and decision making so much better!
